Hi gang!
Well, Santa didn’t disappoint! For those last minute Christmas shoppers, Lucky Goat brewery and Santa’s elves came through in a nick of time! Zero Zero 2 India Pale Ale is canned and flying off the shelves at 379 Main Street, Wareham! World famous brewmeister, Aaron Perry, unveiled the iconic brew this evening at “The Goat” to thunderous applause!

Wouldn’t you know it, “Ranger” Pete Allard, resident pickleball pro at Maple Park Campground and RV Park, muse behind the name, and fashion model on the label (featuring his best side, as he reminded me!) got there first and almost cleaned out the place! Luckily, Aaron stashed a four-pack under the counter so Karen and I could grab one…

The elves came off the shelves and we could hear them frantically canning more out back, but I don’t think this first-ever, limited edition, pickleball IPA will be around long…

That’s the bad news… the good news is Aaron is planning ahead for the Y’s Sham Slam Extravaganza Round Robin in March. Rumor has it that every lucky competitor in the Sham Slam will get to pick a coin from the Pot o’ Gold and a few will be gift certificates for Lucky Goat Dink Responsibly IPA, or other tasty hydration.

As we close out 2023, Karen and I want to wish everyone in Buzzards Bay Pickleball Nation a joy-filled holiday season and healthy, peaceful, pickleball-filled New Year!

Theresa
