Hi gang!
Wanted to update you on next Sunday’s Reindeer Games at Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham! This fun round robin tournament (8 Dec 9am start) will raise money for the Y pickleball program and help us figure out who’s naughty and nice on the courts!

This is designed for folks who know how to have fun and are aching to show their stuff! If you think you’re “2.0-ish” to “3.0-ish,” sign up! If you’ve never taken the plunge into fun tournament play, this is the tournament and format for you!

Round robin! You play with a different partner against different opponents every round! Fifteen games, first to 7, fast, fun, furious! WOW! Most wins, points when the dust settles wears the laurels and takes home the hardware! Anyone can can win!

We have some marquee players already signed up! Come and take on Mike “Crossing Guard” Sadeck, Anne “Anna Lee” Petrino-Taft, Suann “Stand Back!”Tescher, Linda “Crush!” Mingace, Phyllis “Forever” Young, and Frank “The Quiet Man” Pruchnik! The coolest picklers are heating up the indoor courts at the Y!

Santa’s elves will be officiating and handing out presents to “nice” players between rounds.

Get into the holiday spirit with competitive pickleball!

Advanced (3.5+) play begins at 9 a.m., featuring a modified MLP format with teams of four and six games guaranteed. Intermediate (3.0-3.49) play kicks off at 1:30 p.m., with men’s and women’s round-robin divisions.
